Dear Dr. Freud

Mmmmm . . . incubus

I always have incredible dreams. I don't mean good dreams, but really vivid and often hilarious dreams. I frequently have what I've termed "stress dreams" in which I'm involved in a Die Hard or Casino Royale scenario, with me as Bond, of course. Saving the world, fighting terrorists, etc. I know, I have issues.

I can always tell when I'm not handling my stress well when friends of mine start populating my stress dreams. It's like all my issues pop up and declare themselves.

Last night was easily a Top Tenner.

I was, again, some sort of government agent. But I was in the Far East, and my quasi-spy ex boyfriend from some time ago was my partner. We were constantly trying to change into disguises and what not. At one point I was running down an alley with a colleague from work attempting to dodge bullets using my umbrella. I think maybe I had an Avengers issue I had to deal with?

The best part, though, was when I looked up at a sign at one point (still in the dream) and it said, "Welcome to Cambonesia." I actually stopped dead, dropped my umbrella, and starting laughing uncontrollably in the middle of what may have been a gunfight. Apparently my unconscious feared litigation from both Cambodia and Indonesia and so created a superstate a la South Park called Cambonesia.
